Waterfront Shipping, a joint venture entity owned by Methanex and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, is a global marine transportation company specializing in the safe, responsible, and reliable transport of bulk chemicals and clean petroleum products to major international markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. The company operates the world’s largest methanol ocean tanker fleet with 19 of its 32 vessels equipped with methanol dual fuel technology, representing approximately 60 per cent of its fleet. The fleet is operated mostly through long-term time charters, with Waterfront Shipping having 50 per cent ownership of five of the 32 vessels.
